I want to calculate quantum yield(QY) indirectly by using quinine but some things confuse me.

In the relative QY reference, quinine is diluted 0.1M H2SO4 and other concentration is not mentioned. So can I use kind of 1 mM, 5 mM? or other concentration which is convenient to me?

Then, my probe concentration is converted to quinine concentration.

If the converted quinine concentration was 7 μM, is the quinine stock solution which put in cuvette (5 mM) diluted in 'buffer solution or water'? even my probe perform other solution like organic mixture solvent? through MV=M'V'?

like, 5 mM * V = 7 μM * 3 mL?
