As I mentioned in my previous question, I want to eliminate the leakage between rotor and stator. There is a small gap between rotor and stator surface. I am using dynamic mesh and I have to keep the gap to make moving mesh work. I still dont want the leakage happening from the gap and I am thinking to use INTERFACE.
Can anyone suggest me, what type of moving interface option should I use to resist the mass flow in this gap ? Also let me know if there are any other alternatives you think can work to eliminate the leakage.

Please clearly explain your problem. Can you send a diagram showing the leakage?
Are you sure that you should be using a dynamic mesh? For rotor-stator problems, I believe that you should be using Sliding meshes. Please give more details about your problem, what you exactly mean by the leakage between rotor and stator.
Hello there,
I am working on a simulation of a rotary engine ( Similar to Wankel engine). The situation is as below.
The stator is steady and rotor is rotating at 580 RPM. I am using dynamic mesh. To get the perfect sealing, there must be a contact between stator and rotor. I can not model the perfect contact between rotor and stator due to dynamic mesh. So there is a little gap between stator and rotor at the contact point.
Can anybody suggest me that how can I eliminate the leakage Or to create a sealing which works with the dynamic mesh, which can eliminate a gap and helps to prevent leakage problem. Herewith I have attached a figure mentioning a problem.
