I need to treat cell lines with uvb light exposure, and the articles i've read inform dosages of uvb in J/m2 , how can i calculate the distance and time from these values?
if someone could recomend a book or wich formulas should i use, please.

1 J/m² = 1 W/m² * s.
When you know the W/m² from your light source at a certain distance, you can calculate what time is needed to achieve a certain dose.
3W/m² for 4 seconds results in 12 W/m²*s = 12 J/m²
1W/m² for 12 seconds results also in 12W/m²*s = 12 J/m²
