I'm a Sr Director of Product Management at Citrix, and I teach Product Management part-time at North Carolina State University (graduate program).
I completed my DBA this year and submitted 3 papers to various journals (1 accepted, 2 in review).
I would like to partner with an active academic to do research in the field of corporate innovation and ambidexterity. Also, I'm considering to write a book about navigating a successful career, and it would be based on research that I have a rough idea for. The issue I'm seeing, there is no platform to find research partners on topics of joint interest... or, at least I'm unable to find such a platform. Someone on Quora suggested to start with RG, so I'm trying my luck here :).

Corporate Innovation and ambidexterity seems such an interesting topic for research. A lot of budding researchers are out there willing to contribute to substantial research. Research Gate itself is an effective platform to look for researchers. At the same time, you can try out LinkedIn, Internshala and other platforms where academic researchers are looking for opportunities to assist professionals. Hope this helps.
Based on my experiences, it would be effective to know the scholars who are doing the same research in an academic conference (meet in a paper session or symposium and discuss some issues...then later contact them with an interesting opportunity).
Or, you may contact the scholars who are doing research on the same topics with an interesting opportunity.
What I mean by "an interesting opportunity" is to invite them to write a paper with the results that you have, to start to build a research project based on rough ideas, or to invite the person to join a project with a potential data collection, and so on.
Anyway, the collaboration is generally quite personal.

Firstly congratulations on obtaining your DBA!
1. The first port of call for publishing would be your DBA supervisor, who may be interested to collaborate with you in publishing your outcomes. After all, he/she would have guided you on your journey.
2. It is also a good idea to present your findings in a high level academic conference such as the Academy of Management, where you will meet up to 9000 researchers and participants, some of them may be in a similar areas as yourself.
3. As you are well linked to organisations and corporations, it would be great to find like-minded practice academics who have a broad experience in various aspects of corporation to appreciate your approaches on innovation. Some traditional academics may struggle with a practice approach.
4. Fourthly, always work with middle level academics who are having a trajectory in research and publications (like a bagful of 20 journal articles) who have the experience and can guide you. It is a tough and lonely journey if you were to do it by yourself.

You received a very good advice from Adrian. Just one point is missing -- the best way is to get a medium-size grant for a small group of researchers on your topic or a broader topic and then to address the mentioned "middle level academics" to participate in a project with not only moral (publications) but monetary remuneration for their time and efforts.

That is good and valid point that Igor has raised. Many a times, a grant is a reason for a group of academic to "commence" working together. They had come together to apply for a common objective (the grant) and getting it means that have to fulfil the requirements expediently, with obligations.

I should follow Adrian that just preparation of a grant usually helps to establish personal relationship between different researchers. The bid itself may be unsuccessful, but usually a part of bidders continue to cooperate regardless of funds as they discover interesting ideas to be developed together.
