I extracted feces and plasma by the method below.

1. Feces 50 mg + water 1 mL

2. Plasma 100 µL + methanol 400 µL

And 1 uL was injected into HPLC for thiamine analysis.

When 1.1117 µM of glutmic acid is detected in feces and plasma....

How do I calculate concentration calibration?

In paper, feces are usually written in µmol/g and plasma in µmol/L.

I want to know all the calibration process.

1. Feces 50 mg / 1 mL

Glutmic acid 1.1117 µM = 1.1117 µg / L = 1.1117 ng / 1 mL

1.1117 ng / 50 mg = 0.022234 ng/mg = 0.022234 µg/g   ▶ mmol/g ??

2. Plasma 100 µL / MeOH 400 µL = 100 µL / 500 µL ?? (Plasma + MeOH)

Glutmic acid 1.1117 µM = 1.1117 µg / L = 1.1117 pg / 1 µL = 555.85 pg / 500 µL?

555.85 pg / 100 µL = 0.55585 µg / L  ▶ mmol/L ??
