How can I extract DNA from tissue frozen in OCT blocks?

We are trying to extract DNA from 2-3 20 um sections. We are having many problems with tissue homogenization due to the mucus that OCT forms. Can anyone help?

I don't know what kind of tissue you are working on. We used laser capture microdissection to obtain our corneal stroma from OCT sections, it works well on RNA extraction. If the tissue is in OCT block, just thaw the OCT, get and rinse the tissue, DNA extraction can be done as usual.
