I want to design the experiment for cancer (except breast cancer, colon, prostate) treatment with anti tumor agent Hydroxycinnamaldehyde with molecular mechanisms or pathway.

If your drug could target specific gene, you may find a cell line overexpression this gene at first. Then you find a proper dose for drug treatment using MTT assay in this cell line. When these experiments all right, you may test the expression level of target gene and its related pathways after treated with drug. Finally, read some related papers, you could do a better work. Thank you so much Yuen Gao, actually this drug is already used by my supervisor against every type of cancer cell line, and this drug is not specific to any cell, it acts on mostly every type of cell line.i am in search of new pathway regarding cancer cell line.

Try to see what's happening with competing drugs for that metabolic pathway...
