How can I activate my oncogene of interest in plants?

I want to silence an oncogene (which is transfected) for a period of time and activate it. How can I do that? Could you suggest some papers for the above case,if any? This is a general case.

You would need to use a stringent, inducible gene expression system, placing your gene of interest under the control of the corresponding promoter for that system.
