I have many sequences from the environment to do function gene but I am not experienced analysis sequence to get the phylogenetic tree, please could someone help me step by step how I can do this? I downloaded most programme e.g( Mega7, Bioedit, DNAMan)
Please follow following steps
1. Blast sequences at NCBI and download first results in fasta format
2. combine your sequences in fasts format + sequences from NCBI in a file
3. align them using any software (online MAFFT)
4. aligned sequences import in the MEGA and construct tree using desired settings

Prepare fasta file and use in public open cite http://phylogeny.lirmm.fr/phylo_cgi/simple_phylogeny.cgi that has great explanations and options
