Hello Everyone!
I'm working with a biomass with a high potassium level, it can't be burned in a conventional boiler system because of ash fouling and slagging problems. So, i was researching and i found that melting problems starts with a relationship between potassium and silica, in my case this biomass has low levels of silica. However i have the doubt if it is always true, since the relationship is in a document for combustion by fluidized bed and in my case I would like to know if it applies too in a fixed bed.
So, if anyone has additional information about this topic that can share, I will be eternally grateful.
