Hey folks, hope you're all okay. I have one doubt, I always used to check the videoscope to help improve the bright and contrast in the microscope, but I used to do this in a FEI (Thermofisher) microscope.
Now I have a jeol so things got different, the histogram is just a tiny window with peaks and valleys and depending on how you adjust the bright and contrast you can get a gaussian curve.
Can someone help me to interpret this histogram? Thank you all for the attention!

Thank you @AlanFRawle I read the link you sent...so until now I'm doing everything right, while adjusting the bright and contrast I try to get the gaussian curve and center the curve, but just one thing I still didn't get it is: what about the height of the curve? Should reach the top of the histogram or not?
The top of the histogram is usually arbitrary and normalized to 100% under the curve.
