Hello, I would like to make a generalized linear model (GLM), using functional richness as a response variable and different elements of the bottom cover (coral, algae, rocks, etc.) as explanatory variables.
But I have the inconvenience that the functional richness data is greater than 1 and with decimals, so I could not use the Poisson distribution.
Could you round the data? Or what other distribution family could I use in this case?

- You don't want to round the numbers.
- Can you post a histogram of functional richness ?
- Ideally, also, run a regular OLS general linear model reflecting the model you eventually want, and post a histogram of the residuals.
- I'm guessing Gamma regression will work, but I'm not very familiar with functional richness data.

يمكن استخدام المفتاح الاحصائي 0و1 اوغيره اذا كان القيم العددية اكبر من واحد او اصغر يمكن تقريب النسب مع مراعاة نسب الخطا بحيث لا يكون تاثيراه كبير يودي الى نتائج التي تظهر
