Hi!
A week ago I started a culture of SK-N-F1 cell line with NF1 mutation. We obtained it from ATCC (https://www.atcc.org/products/crl-2142).
I am the only person in lab that works with these cells and I have some questions about the culture.
What is the doubling time of this cell line? Can't find any information about it.
Should I completely resuspend cells after centrifugation to get single-cell suspension? I observed they are making some kind of clumps and I don't want to pipette them too harshly.
How to prepare freezing medium? Each source gives different formula...
I would be very grateful for your help.
