Lately, I have gotten a problem with transfection using Lipofectamine 2000. The transfection efficiency is obviously dropped comparing to my past experiments. I have tried varying the condition but it was never as good as before. However, I have noticed something strange in my experiments that there are something on my transfected cells which I assumed that they might be lipofectamine-DNA complex. (none was shown on untransfected cells.)

I don't know if it was my mistake this was happened, or this was normal.

I've never thought that lipofectamine-DNA complex is visible?

Is this the reason behind my low transfection efficiency?
