I will be isolating exosomes from plasma with Total Exosome Isolation Kit (Invitrogen). Will Isolate II RNA mini kit (Bioline) be appropriate for miRNA isolation from obtained exosomes? The protocol does not mention exosomes, only cultured cells and tissue

You may consider using Total Exosome RNA & Protein Isolation Kit (Thermo; Cat. No. 4478545) after isolating exosomes from plasma with Total Exosome Isolation Kit. This will help you to obtain an enriched quantum of small RNA (which is mostly miRNA).

the miRNEasy kit from Qiagen works very well for EVs and microRNAs. You can either use the normal one and just add 5 volumes of qiazol to start with, or buy the serum/plasma kit. I have used both with good results. Sorry, I have never used the one you mention before.
Hi Jennifer Pérez-Boza Did you end up using the RNA for RNA seq? my concern is the RNA quality with these kits.
Mehri Barabadi which kit are you going to use and which sample are you going to use? I used the QIAGEN kit for extraction of RNA from fish kidney sample and we used them for miRNA-seq and it worked fine.
