Hi all,

Here is a simple technical question:

I have been making aliquots of Matrigel and saving them for each experiment. However, an expert in our lab, who has now left, showed me a few weeks ago that the whole bottle of Matrigel can be left in 4c and used for the coating without any issues.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience on that, or any suggestions, since the label clearly says not to keep in 4c for long, but I have seen it works amazingly without any issues no gelling and with the iPSCs attaching fine and all perfect even after keeping the whole Matrigel bottle for a month (the whole duration of the experiment) in 4c.

Thanks,

Mahsa
