good evening Dr., yes can select your parameters that would you like to estimate it and send its information to the manufactured company that they will be created an ELISA plate with Ab or Ag according to the parameter that is determination.
Thank you, Ahmed. What I'm more interested in is if anybody has had experience using ELISA kits specifically from LSBio (also known as LifeSpan Biosciences).
I will be running a HBD-1 (human beta defensin 1) ELISA from LSBio next week. Although It is my first time with the brand, I have seen some publications where they use them, so I trust I will have no issues with it. The user manual is not as clear as other brands I have check, no big deal, though, and I presume it is due to the molecule rather than to the brand.
I cannot say anything good or bad about the brand just yet, but once I perform the assay (next tuesday) I will tell you my experience.
Luis did you get a good result with LSBio? I'm looking for ELISA kits right now and I'm interested in whether this company produces reliable products. Anyone else?
Yes, I did. I completely trust the results I got, I had good intra and inter assay reproducibility and values were similar to literature reports. As a matter of fact, I have already published my results. Another pro is that you don't need any special equipment/reagents to perform the assay. The only con is that the kit's protocol was a bit extensive (>5 hours).
Ross, I wonder if you finally used LS Bio ELISA kit. Do you recommend this manufacturer? There are no publications available with "my" protein and I am looking for any information from users.
