I want to test the growth capabilities of lactic acid bacteria at pH 9.6. I prepared MRS broth and adjusted the pH to 9.6. However, after sterilization in autoclave, pH of the MRS broth decreased to 8 or under 8. How can I do about this topic? How can I arrange pH after autoclaving without disturbing sterility? Thank you.
