The aim of the analysis is to detect the presence of Cryptosporidium parvum oocysts and Giardia lamblia cysts in the given water sample. Majority of the literature available have employed Dyna beads manufactured by Applied Biosystems and even EPA guidelines recommend the same. However, their representative has confirmed that the Dyna beads specific for Cryptosporidium parvum and Giardia lamblia have been discontinued in India.

Is there any alternative vendor available in India who can provide IMS beads specific for the afore mentioned parasites.
