Using Mie theory we can plot angular scattering pattern of silver NPs. If we plot various sized silver nanoparticles (20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 nm)scattering, which size will has higher forward scattering?

But my question is if someone asks us which silver nano-sphere has higher plasmonic effect, how can we answer that question? which particle has higher forward scattering? This forward scattering will increase with size? what is the reason for that?
You may be able to find someone who has created this for Matlab already. Alternatively, you can use the Malvern software to model different scattering scenarios, it can be downloaded for free. The attached graph was created for particles from 20nm to 100nm at a scattering angle of 173 degrees. The advanced research features article contains an older document with an overview of the Mie equations.
