Fixed Effect Panel Data Regression giving controversial result?

If in Fixed Effect Panel Data Regression we are getting the p>|t| of an independent variable to be such that the variable has no significant influence on the dependent variable, whereas the Correlation result shows a significant score, what should we do to identify what is going wrong?

We need more details to give any advice. In univariate case, for instance, this is simply impossible since the two tests are the same.
