Hello, I have some E. coli k-12 strains that should express type 1 fimbriae.
I would like to check if they do and if they are able to bind to mannose.
Is there any antibody assay or similar to do the assay I am looking for?
Best regards.
Immunogold staining, using TEM.

Hello I want to address the activity of FimH type 1 in E. coli under different conditions. Does anybody knows of a transgenic strains, or a plasmid that carry such reporter gene? Best regards.
