I have been trying to stain my PEG based hydrogels for Fibronectin. I used Monocolonial Anti-Fibronectin as primary and AF 488 as secondary. What I have been observing was a green background with some sparkles. I wanted to know what these sparkles are and where are they coming from? Are these indication of the presence of Fibronectin in the my hydrogels. I do not see these sparkles in my secondary anti-body controls. 

I have washed my gels thoroughly after each step.
