Dear Researchers,

we would like to purchase an automated cell counter for our cell culture lab. We are also dealing with primary cells and cells isolated from tumors. In these samples we usually have moderate clumping and debris. Being able to use reusable Counting chambers is also important to us.

Currently we are considering the Invitrogen Countess 3 and the Logos Biosystems Luna 3, because both are financially affordable and claiming to be able to deal with clumps and debris. Moreover we would like to see our cells on the screen to perform a second visual check of the sample and counting quality. Unfortunately independent reviews for both instruments are rare and most of the answers referred to older models like the Countess 2 or Luna 2 and im wondering if there is any "fresher" experience.

Would be great to hear about your experience, especially with these two devices!

Thanks!
