I am using Eppendorf safe-lock tubes to store DNA/buffer solutions. I put 0.5 mL of the solution into a 2 mL tube, and stored it at 4 degree C in a fridge (lid is closed tightly, and the tube is kept vertical). After 10 days, I saw some water droplets sticking on the wall of the tube, which means I have a higher concentration for the bulk solution on the bottom of the tube. I do not want to centrifuge the water back to the bottom, because that makes me unconfident with the concentration. Does anyone have similar experience with Eppendorf tubes, and know how to avoid this happening?
