Ellagic acid solubility in bacterial culture media?

I need to dissolve ellagic acid in the bacterial media (1mg/100ml). Ellagic acid is found to be soluble in1ml 1N NaOH and DMSO. But once the dissolved solution is poured to culture media (Anaerobic basal broth), it is getting highly precipitated. Please help me to find out a possible solution.
