I am reinvigorating L.major promastigote cell lines using m-199 medium supplemented with 10% FBS and to avoid any sort of bacterial contamination, i am using pen strep and what should be the optimum dose of this antibiotics because i was wondering if higher dose has an inhibition effect on revival rate as  it has on other strains such as L.tropica. Please share your wisdom.
