Lets say i have a water droplet containing biomolecules. During evaporation of droplets through heating, is there any kind of biomolecules or salts which also evaporates along with water vapours?
Macromolecules and most small biomolecules are not volatile. There are a few volatile salts: ammonium formate, ammonium bicarbonate, and ammonium acetate. These will evaporate. Ammonia will evaporate. Low molecular weight hydrocarbons, alcohols, and amines are also volatile.
