I do not know many references about inner ear. But, here are some references that can help you:
Wever, Ernest Glen. "The ear and hearing in the frog, Rana pipiens." Journal of morphology 141.4 (1973): 461-477.
Lewis, E. R., Baird, R. A., Leverenz, E. L., & Koyama, H. (1982). Inner ear: dye injection reveals peripheral origins of specific sensitivities. Science, 215(4540), 1641-1643.

In addition to these bibliographies, you can consult the Wells book (The ecology and behavior of amphibians), specifically the session "anatomy and function of inner ear".
