If yes, how can I determine the best gold nanoparticle size for my Ab?
I am going to use an IgG secondary antibody and a gold conjugation kit. And the Ab-gold will be used for a lateral flow assay.

Kindly refer the technical article by Darren Rowles, BBI International, They have Presented the gold nanoparticles size (range) and the various areas of application. It needs optimization to standardize the assay. Kindly refer my article as well.
Have you already conducted experiments on lateral flow assay using Ab-gold nanoparticle (AuNP) conjugate? If not, then you should first try out AuNP of size 20 nm in diameter. Still having said that Lateral flow assay is about optimization. To get good signals at test and control zones, not only the size of AuNP matters but the amount of secondary antibody that you are going to conjugate (one of many other factors) also matters.
