For sure this is a very basic question but I would appreciate if someone could confirm it.
I have a dilution of methanol and glycerol and the point is increasing the viscosity by increasing the proportion of glycerol, all at room temperature.
I believe the molecular weight does not change but the free volume in between the solvent and my molecule (molecular rotor). I had the doubt if I could express the molecular weight as an average depending on the proportions used, what I think it is not useful for what I am doing.
