I haven't been able to find any information on the relation of high salt diet and the increase of angiotensin II in any journal. Thank you for your help.
Best article I have seen is Paul W. Sanders .Vascular consequences of dietary salt intake American Journal of Physiology - Renal Physiology. Published August 2009. Vol 297. no. F237-243. DOI: 10.1152/ajprenal.00027.2009
Would you please kindly check my manuscript entitled"Possible involvement of aminopeptidase A in hypertension and renal damage in Dahl salt-sensitive rats, which appeared in Am J Hypertens,2005;18:538-43
High salt intake can result in increased vascular volume as a result of increased water intake and normally angiotensin-ii is required through the RAAS for this action, so it is therefore possible for high salt intake to increase angiotensin levels
