Does ATAC-seq protocol from Buenrostro et al 2015 (PMID: 25559105) work for mouse breast cancer cells?

Hi everyone,

My lab is looking to perform ATAC-seq on some 4T1 mice triple-negative breast cancer cells. Currently we are going to follow the protocol detailed in Buenrostro et al 2015 (PMID: 25559105).

I noticed the protocol mentioned in non-human cells, the number of cells required may vary. So just out of curiosity, has anyone performed ATAC-seq using mice cells? Would you recommend to change the starting cell number? (50,000 cells per sample in the protocol)

Also, do you normally include input for ATAC-sequencing?
