I need to learn if xylene and tetrachloroethylene are miscible or not. It is also will be usefull to learn a solvent that is not miscible with tetrachloroethylene.
Thank you Mina Karimi-Avargani as I see the solvent miscibility chart trichloroethylene is immiscible with xylene. So it could be the same with tetrachloroethylene . Experimental result would be very nice to know.
Dear all, tetrachloroethylene is miscible with most polar solvents and immiscible with most apolar solvents to different extents, so polarity is the keyparameter here. My Regards
