It depends very much on the goal of your study. Some questionnaires measure the prevalence of bul-lying, others focus on the specific role of each pupil in the bullying process, and others investigate the teacher behavior in bullying situations. To get a first overview it may be helpful to consult the following page: http://www.kenrigby.net/01a-Questionnaires
Alexander Wettstein my project is looking into the effect bullying has on the victims, do you know of any questionnaires that measure this in teens or older who are not in school?
Most bullying questionnaires measure the prevalence, and things like where it happened, whether the victim told anyone or tried to cope in other ways. Outcomes such as depression are usually measured by other questionnaires specifically on that.
I have used a questinnaire that included a question
Q2: How did you feel when someone directly bullied you in the last two months? (For this question you can cross several answers) 0 I haven’t been directly bullied in the last two months 0 Embarrassed 0 Worried 0 Upset 0 Afraid and scared 0 Alone and isolated 0 Defenceless, no one can do anything about it 0 Depressed 0 Stressed 0 It doesn’t bother me 0 Angry 0 Other (Please write here)..............................................................................................................................
and can send you more details if you are interested.
Can I use abroad scale for Indian research.... ??? Please help I need to use RCBI for cyberbullying victimization screening purpose for my PhD research. Is it valid?
Kashfi Naaz - Yes you can. I think that first you must find some cultural differences between your research target and the the questionnaire target. I believe that cyberbullying forms and topics are the same everywhere.
The PECK developed by Caroline Hunt in Sydney is one of the psychometrically strongest measures I have seen - very thorough development (as evidenced by the fact it was published in the journal Psychological Measurement!).
