MS2-p65-HSF1 is a transcriptional activation domain. By binding to aptamers from sgRNA2.0 (see Konermann 2015, Nature) you can target it with dCas9 to regulate expression of a gene of choice.

However, I can't find any information (also not in the paper) on how one would detect this MS2-p65-HSF1 protein complex in murine cell subsets (via flow cytometry, ICFC) using an antibody.

I want to produce it in mice and then detect which cells produce it via flow cytometry.

I found 1 MS2 coat protein antibody, which however was not suited for flow cytometric purposes ( I could always switch to western blot if need-be.. ). HSF1 and p65 in this complex are human aa sequence, which is however very similar to the sequence of murine HSF1 and p65, so this will confound use of an antibody for these elements.

Suggestions would be highly appreciated.

PS: Alternative is adding my own tag, e.g. c-Myc, to this complex, where would I do this? (not 5' or 3', as this would impact MS2 aptamer binding or HSF1 transcriptional activation potentially).
