I would like some clarity concerning stressing sugarcane in vitro plantlets using ABA. I have done some reading and see that the time for stressing varies from hours to days. I would like to know what is recommended by the community with regard to the duration of stress.

For further information, these plantlets are WT and will be stressed in magentas on MS medium. Therefore, the ABA treatment will be added directly to the media.
