Hello, everyone.

I randomly check lab's capillary electrophoresis instrument, I saw these green particles all around high voltage electric line. This is where the platinum electrode and line meets. After this is found, electric current of capillary electrophoresis fall to 0 (10 to 0 or 0.1 μA)

Engineers says they have no idea. Somehow related to electrics.

I was looking for similar situation but I couldn't find it or I couldn't reproduce same situation. I guess something related to organic solvent, plastic and high voltage. I'm currently using running buffer in ethanol.

May I ask if anyone here is familiar with this issue?

Instrument: P/ACE MDQ
