The A1235 cell line is known to be deficient in repairing alkylating damage due to missing an activity of MGMT enzyme, crucial in repairing alkylating damage.
I am having a tough time finding information about the status of their mutations i.e. the status of EGFR, p53, pRB, p16, p19, etc.
I would really appreciate if someone could provide more information about this cell line.
This paper reports a tandem duplication in EGFR suggesting that it might be amplified. I didn't see anything in COSMIC, CCLE, etc.

Sorry, I do not have this information; I understand it may help you in citing any of such mutations if known to be related to this cell line and then to discuss any other results. A lack of MGMT activity should be typical for many glioblastomas, as well as half of them may have, for example, p53 mutations (see some of my coauthored independent papers in the 1990s on p53 as well as MGMT in glioblastomas), but it may be best to check exactly the cells you work with to confirm any important correlations. Since tumor cell lines can acquire mutations, many labs may select for different subtypes of an original tumor cell line. p53 mutations may also develop in cell culture.
