Hi I'm a Bioinformatics PhD student at UoL. I would like to chat to, or network with anyone who is knowledgeable on the cellular/molecular biology of P.falciparum or related strains/organisms such as T.gondii.
I have some very strange data/results which from my Bioinformatics/Comp Bio background does not make much sense in biological terms.

Well Christian G Meyer why don't you tell me what areas of knowledge/experience in the molecular/cellular/proteomic biology of Plasmodium falciparum and related parasites you have expertise in?
Not sure I can specify further on this website what specific knowledge I am seeking as I don't want to blurt out all over the internet the findings of my 1st year of PhD project so far; as based on my data/results I have some very confusing findings in terms of the cellular biology of P.f.
Well, Mr. Murphy, am not willing to demonstrate my expertise here, this can be retrieved elsewhere.
But in Liverpool several researchers are doing molecular studies in P. falciparum and T. gondii; e.g. you may wish to check in PubMed under "Author infomation" these manuscripts (among many others coming from Liverpool).
I think Prof. Alister G. Craig at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine might be a researcher you should approach.
