Does anybody know the etchant for LaTi2Al9O19?

I made FG coating with LTA and YSZ. I would like to observe OM and SEM images. Polishing does not reveal the FG layer so Etching is necessary. So please tell me the etchant details. Thank you in advance

I don't know that composition, it seems quite complex, not sure anyone has a good answer for you right away. But it seems its based on aluminum oxides in some way, with some additions. In that case it might be possible to echt the layer with an AlOx Echt, i would suggest NH4OH : H2O2 : H2O in an 1:1:3 Ratio @ 80°C. Two other possibilities are Br2 : MeOH 10% and H3PO : Cr2O3 7ml : 4g. If your composition isn't anything like AlO, then please ignore my answer.
