Dear all,

I’ve prepared and characterized my samples (polymer electrolyte membranes) using Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The sample that has lowest Tg value show the smoothness of the surface from SEM images.

I’ve tried to correlate the observed results with the amorphous fraction of the samples.

But I got a comment from reviewer just said: “Smoothness/roughness is not related to amorphous nature of the electrolyte.”

Can anyone give brief explanation to this?

Thanks in advance for your replies.
