More scientists from different expert profiles are involved in active projects that are realized in the RG community, and they aim to slightly relax us as a project' members in comparison with more professional projects. I am wondering if you think that we will achieve the goal of such projects?

Interesting topic.... good idea interaction between researchers around the world very important due to exchange experiences and gain the skills of the work of different projects and research knowledge of different cultures I think it is very important to lead to interaction and scientific exchange between researchers and scientists.

Some answers to my questions have definitely helped me in writing some chapters of my new books. It is always refreshing to have the opinions and remarks from people of different field of research.
What are the specific objective indicators of the progress? Or is just the subjective biased opinions of people on RG?
For me, I find Researchgate extremely useful and beneficial. With the costs of attending professional meetings increasing while academic budgets shrinking, it's more difficult to attend meetings now. Researchgate has acted as an effective replacement for meetings. I'm able to connect with researchers, find papers, and download data all from the comfort of my desk.

Somewhere in this site we have been able to communicate with various world scientists
But we need more support through the meeting at frequent world conferences
Goal is our achievement & while carrying out our action in the line with our knowledge & experience in our RG program , we may feel satisfy with the response to our members & in case if we feel that the response is silence it is for us to carry out evaluation . It is only after our performance our achievement of our knowledge we may think your question in latter line .

Yes. RG is bringing researchers together. Not every project will be a success, but that is normal statistics.
Everything has to begin somewhere.....I think from the first few projects,a large number of people from wide-ranging backgrounds have managed to come together and at least converse.
Being able to talk to one another is the key...we've all seen what happens when people,individually and collectively,stop talking or listening to one another,and my own country's probelms are as good an example as any.
If we come together,talk and listen to each other's points of view,we're doing much better than many of our leaders and politicians.

There are 51 answers, based on self-reporting. You are probably aware of all the problems with self-reporting data, and the self-selection bias. Do you have any additional data?
Are the answers representative, and if so, they are representative of what? In other words, to which population would it be appropriate to make the inferences from this data?

That RG started a project to win over colleagues from other disciplines for the questions discussed here is new to me. I don't notice a thing about it either. To really make progress, we must have SMART indicators
Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time-bound
And then periodically check whether we have achieved them, and have accountability and responsibility.
Here we simply have self-reported opinions with zero evidence, data or information.
The progress in this group is no different from the outside reality that we face every day. People simply assume that we are making progress and congratulate themselves for a job well-done. When we will ever learn that this does not work.

I propose that we specify concrete measurable indicators. One possibility is: the number of joint papers written by RG researchers across disciplines. Then we upload these papers to RG as transparent evidence of progress.
You may propose other indicators.
