For me, personal security, the rule of law and authorities that don't expect bribes are more important in my own country than moving abroad for a few dollars or rubles more.
I would leave my country even without an offer for a better job, but with an offer of citizenship. My work is online and so from where I do it is immaterial.
It is not only about money! It is more about recognition, appreciation, respect, career development, and being able to support your family! If yes, why not!
Firstly, I don't think to leave from Turkiye, permanently. I love my country, people and my work environment. But; I can accept to leave my country for a certain period of time if there are appropriate working conditions(not just money) that can give up my this idea.
Certainly, the situation worldwide is very different. Migration is the normal way to adapt differences in social and economical life. But at the same time we understand colleagues who have reasons to remain in their country, where very modest conditions of life are connected with no great hope of change.
Its a challenge to leave the country and take another job abroad, however, i did it twice. Still i love my country I was brought up 🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷 now been in UK since 2003, excluding was born there in London.
It is the major problem of the third world when you find nothing in your country to live in dignity and humanity, why not migrate to a country that provides you with these conditions
If the opportunity is on contract bases & assignment of the job is for my own contribution where I can also offer my suggestion with the suitable notes for the management I may choose an opportunity .
Thanks to all of you who dedicate part of your free time to my question. Your various answers stimulate my thinking on the subject. I'm glad to get information from people from different countries of the world.
I have migrated to United States, and it is one of the best decision for our family. Emigration is beneficial to individuals, families, and countries of origin and destinations. Migration is important for the transfer of manpower and skills and provides the needed knowledge and innovation for global growth. In order to address the issues raised by global migration, it is necessary to improve international coordination.
I don't think that would be possible on my personal point of view. Yes you get paid..a lot.. or even more than what you could imagine, they will offer you the best accommodation in town but at the end of the day, with these offers, you sacrificed more than what you intend to do so. Your family might be happy at home because they can buy more than what they can chew but something will always be missing. you on the other hand will suffer discrimination, exploitation, biases and more while you are trying to earn. You will become "enslaved" to the system and to the bitter end, you will be asking yourself, where did it go wrong? :)
Thanks for all your answers and all your tips. I hope this is useful not only for me, but for all others who follow my questions. By "socializing with you within the question" now I really have a different sense of the topic we are discussing.
Initially no, but after studing offer and country then i can think to accept but with constraints initially smaller period and when it confirms everything good ,continue
Ladies and Gentlemen, I am glad that in these warm days I have kept your attention to my questions. I will not argue with you all about your answers because I respect every opinion, I will just give you a big thank you. Greetings from me to all of you
I got my first opportunity abroad when I finished my PhD in USA but I decided to go back home. Itried to join international research organizations in order to be able to advance further in research and technology development and be in a stronger team with international Scientific programs. In addition to higher salaries and advantages. But I can tell it was difficult to leave country and family.
Currently I live in Tunisia, It is for me the paradise on the earth.. I had an experience for three years in Saudi Arabia.. But, it is possible that I leave for another adventure.
