Do different systems behave differently?
Different systems have common properties that do not depend on their nature. These are system-wide properties. And each system has its own specifics related to the subject area. Before going for any studies, one should have basic knowledge in the respective field. Otherwise results may vary. For example if I ask a question, What is opposite of RIGHT. The answers given by
a teacher is WRONG
a policeman is LEFT
a bus conductor is HOLD ON.
Hence usage is important.
I believe this question doesn't have an absolute answer.
There are both cases.
There are systems which are very different from each other, and behave similarly in some of its descriptions. e.g. the macroscopic behavior of a diatomic gas (which gives the systems its properties of temperature, entropy, internal energy, etc.). And the way people bump to each other in a rock concert.
The system of a crowd bumping to each other and slaming against each other can be studied and modeled as a global macroscopic system using the same statistical distribution for the modeling of the macroscopic system of a gas of 'small' and non interacting molecules.
These two examples, when interested in describing the entire system and all its components as a whole can be done with the same statistical model. i.e. Mawell Boltzmann Statistics.
On the other hand. There are other systems which the evolution and behavior is very different between each other. e.g. a Neutron Star, and the table placed in my room. Both are macroscopic systems, which are made of particles (nucleons and/or electrons). However, the models required to describe its individual behavior are not the same, because the behave and evolve very different.
Of course, every thing and every system in the Universe is made from the same fundamental blocks, and if you want to accept a Universal fundamental description, which you may say: "This is description that should take part in every object, thing and pfysical system in the Universe". That description, of course will be the Meachanial Quantum Wave Funtion of QM, and its evolution is described by the Schrödinger Equation.

I believe you cannot ignore the nature of the system. If the system under consideration is an open or closed system it will result in different behavior. Where it is ‘open’ then events outside the system will impact on how its components react. If it is a closed system then behavior will depend only on internal elements. In market research we look for factors in the market that will influence the way products are provided, or selection criteria of consumers and so on. For example if consumers value products which are produced according to ‘green methods’ a food manufacturer will take this into account when deciding on ingredients and production methods.

Basically, all nature systems are open (exchange matter and energy with the environment) or closed (exchange energy with the environment).
