Hello everyone,
I have a huge problem. I have did some p53 studies using wild type p53 cells A2780 and p53 mutant cell lines OVCAR 3 and collected huge data. The problems is one of the reviewer gave me comment that these cell lines haves different genetical background and they are not comparable. So, just need help with this problem. Any suggestion will be helpful.

The reviewer is correct. The two cell lines are not isogenic (differing ONLY in p53 status). Therefore, any changes that you may have noted during your studies could be independent of p53's role. Consequently, the data may be of limited use. However, you can purchase isogenic lines that may be commercially available from a variety of sources to determine whether your findings using the two non-isogenic lines are reproducible using the isogenic lines.
