DNA extraction from non treated frozen blood?

I am trying to extract DNA from whole blood samples (rabbit), without any success. The samples are frozen in -80 and not treated with anticoagulants. Since most protocols recommend to treat blood with anticoagulants and/or separate plasma before freezing, I am wondering if there is still a way to get DNA out of my samples. Is there any way to work around this?

I am using the Qiagen Blood and Tissue kit.
