If I have a protein with many surface exposed cysteines (i.e. where the surphur is available for disulphide interaction), is there a way of ensuring dimerization of a protein through (only) two specific cysteines? e.g. Lets say I have 10 surface-exposed cysteines and I only want cysteine 2 and 5 to form a bridge.

Would this be possible without causing the protein to oligormerize?
