What could i use to inactivate COVID19 swab samples contained in viral transport media without compromising compatibility with Viral RNA extraction kits (e.g. Qiagen Viral RNA mini kit)?
I'm well aware of DNA/RNA shield, but it is quite expensive.
Do you know any other cheaper alternatives?
