As a pharmacologist and pharmacist I have been thinking about these mRNA vaccines quite a lot. In a previous discussion I asked if the mRNA sequence of the vaccines has been published. So far no answer. I ask this partly because the spike protein could theoretically alter blood pressure on its own by affecting ACE2. Firstly, does anyone here know if the mRNA encodes an entire subunit of the spike protein, or just a small antigen? Secondly, is blood pressure being monitored in any trials for the vaccine over several weeks?
